I love practice coloring with my Copic. This is my first time attempting to add depth to facial feature using this digi stamp call "August Poppy" from Rick St Dennis Artist. I thought the spotlight technique would be perfect to emphasize her facial feature. I also applied the "Artistic Effects" tool in Microsoft Words to fade out the uncolored area of the image a little so the spotlight area would shine even more. I also like making my own background paper. Pink text base card, I created in Microsoft Words, is the complete "In Flanders Field" poem.
Detail about this card along with the link to my spotlight technique tutorials can be found over at my blog via this link:

Christine this is fabulous. I love how you highlighted the lady, I have never seen this technique before. Here in Australia, the Flanders Field poem is recited at memorial services every ANZAC day. It never occurred to me that anyone outside of France, New Zealand and Australia would know of Flanders Field. Your card is very special Christine.

Oh, Christine, I don't know how I missed this card (subscribed for sure now to your gallery), but it's gorgeous! Your coloring is perfect and amazing, and I love how you've shaded her face. And I am familiar with Flanders Field and poppies and find this is a very touching card. So precious, sweet friend! Hugs!
